Getting around
Woodbridge sits between Highway 400 and Highway 27, with Highway 7 running through it and Highway 407 just south. The closest GO trains are Rutherford and Maple on the Barrie line, and GO buses also serve the area. YRT routes connect to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Pioneer Village stations on TTC Line 1.
What is changing
- Barrie line GO expansion: Metrolinx is adding a second track and station upgrades at Maple GO toward all-day, two-way service.
- Highway 427 extension and Highway 413: Ontario is moving ahead in 2026 with extending Highway 427 north and building the Highway 413 east section.
- Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital: Opened in 2021 on Major Mackenzie Drive, Vaughan's first hospital.
