Bolton is about 50 km northwest of downtown Toronto. Highway 427 is about 9 km southeast and Highway 400 about 14 km east, with Highway 50 and Highway 9 running through the area. Brampton Transit route 41 serves Bolton, and GO buses connect Caledon to the Kitchener line.
What is changing
- Highway 413: Construction began in Caledon in 2025 on the new highway linking Highway 400 and Highway 401/407 in Halton.
- New Caledon East Public School: Peel DSB broke ground in December 2024, with opening planned for September 2026.
- Caledon growth plan: The town's Official Plan expects the population to grow from about 80,000 to 300,000 over 30 years.
