Getting around
Kleinburg sits near Highway 27 and Major Mackenzie Drive. Highway 427 now runs north to Major Mackenzie Drive (opened in 2021), giving a fast route to Highway 407 and Highway 401. York Region Transit buses serve the area, and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, the north end of TTC Line 1, is a short drive away. The closest GO train is Maple GO on the Barrie line.
What is changing
- Highway 427 extension: In 2026 Ontario began looking for builders to extend Highway 427 north from Major Mackenzie Drive to the future Highway 413.
- Kleinburg-Nashville growth: New subdivisions and parks are planned or under way west of the village.
